Borges wrote and spoke on numerous occasions about the city of John Calvin, the Swiss jewel on the shores of Lake Geneva. His stay there as a teenager, followed by his return four decades later as an acclaimed writer, left traces that can still be seen throughout the city.
We will explore some of the places in Geneva associated with Borges, from his first arrival to the end of his life. We will also discuss his grave and its symbolism.
With the support of the Canton of Geneva and the Embassy of Switzerland in Argentina.
Free in-person talk at the Alliance Française, Avenida Córdoba 946, Buenos Aires, Argentina.
